Welsh Woman of the Year Awards
Stage Electrics regularly commissions AdVision TV to provide screen feed & dvd recording camera coverage of many large scale shows, and has included the annual 'Welsh Woman of the Year Awards' held at a glittering ceremony at 'Cardiff International Arena'.

The event has been running for over 12 years and aims to promote
the role women have in the workplace and in every sector of society.

The show was enhanced by our 16:9 PPU which fed the 26ft wide rear projected video screen. The PPU incorporated a 25 foot jimmy jib to pick up award winners, also two further cameras capturing lectern speeches and cutaways. Powerpoint presentations and nomination VT's were also played via the SDI fed PPU.

"It was a pleasure to work with you. Our goals were met: we came, it was seen, we rocked!" Stage Electrics

Scouting Association - World Jamboree and Live 07
AdVision provided 12 cameras and our OB truck at both the World Jamboree in Chelmsford and Live 07 at the O2 Arena London. The Scout Jamboree takes place every four years and is a chance for Scouts from across the globe to come together and celebrate. 2007 was a special occasion as it marked the 100th Anniversary of the first ever Scout camp on Brownsea Island and the beginning of the scouting movement.

The show saw over 42,000 guests from 73 countries gather for the 10 day festivities. ADI provided 2 x 30m2 flown from the PA towers with 2 x 20m2 screens further in the crowd. Two mixes were derived from the outside broadcast truck enabling subtitles to be overlaid over some of the content. Shows were also broadcast live on Sky.

Seven Mini Coopers, a Harley Davidson motorbike, abseiling Explorer Scouts and a ‘coat of many badges’ were just some of the wonders that joined a cast of 3,000 on-stage at LIVE 07, Festival of Scouting in the London Millennium Dome.

Breaking The Sound Barrier
Breaking The Sound Barrier is an historical documentary presented by John Suchet (ITN) showing a fascinating journey through more than two hundred years of the Royal School for Deaf Children Margate, which is the oldest public institution for the education of deaf children in Britain, starting way back in 1792.

This programme contains archive material in the form of hundreds of stills and film, as well as signed interviews and footage shot on location around the schools old sites. The video has subtitles for the hard of hearing and sign language interpretation for the deaf. Breaking The Sound Barrier was also featured on BBC's See Hear.
