Our flight cased portable production unit (PPU) is designed with speed and convenience in mind. Running from a single 13 amp socket the PPU can be set up at a clients premises and run from 2 - 8 cameras. The small flyaway unit is easily transported in a small van and can be set up and operational in just over an hour.

Full engineering control of the output signals from the PPU ensures optimum pictures and sound. Our in house format is DVCAM but we do have the option of any other broadcast format. Using the industry standard GVG110 vision mixer, it has 8 inputs with outputs in any format for VTR machines or other destinations.

The Ikegami cameras have exceptional low light sensitivity and picture quality (F8 at 2000 lux greatly reduces lighting requirements). Each multi camera position is provided with a choice of viewfinder, full 4-wire talkback, tally lights and return video as standard.

A vision mixer and a video engineer accompany the PPU and further staff are hired as necessary. We can provide experienced: camera operators, sound and production assistants, sound mixers, make-up artists and runners.
