AdVision TV - Recent Sports Programming

This year AdVision TV has untaken some exciting sports programming to add to its long list of credits.

Sky Sports - WBC Muay Thai Boxing AdVision supplied its Outside Broadcast unit to record the Muay Thai Boxing, Time for Deliverance III, event at the Wembley Conference Arena for Sky Sports. Live commentary and ring side interviews were added to the live action where England's current champion Stephen Wakeling took on Australian John Wayne Parr for the WBC middleweight title. Action Replays were played back via hard disk with two Sony DSR1000 decks and an Ashdale AVM4 controller.
Southern Robotic Mayhem Around 25 teams from TV's "Robot Wars" came to Kent this summer to take part in Southern Robotic Mayhem. Competitors from across Europe met in Folkestone to pitch their robots against one another. AdVision TV's outside broadcast unit was there providing the nerve centre for the show. The facilities provided included 8 camera coverage, live projection to two video projectors, sound & graphics play in and multiple live VHS recordings of each show made available to the public for purchase. Football Our Outside Broadcast truck has been touring the UK providing live video feeds of football and rugby matches. Live commentry is supplied by TV or radio commentators and fed to our truck with pitchside microphones and up to 8 cameras providing full coverage of the match. Action replay facilities are available via digital SLO-MO machines with our output avaiblable for broadcast via a satellite truck. Click here for more details and to see a sample of Brighton v Leeds.
Corporate Games Our biggest challenge last summer was the biggest corporate multisport festival in Europe hosted in Newcastle. Presented by TV's Kate Russell, our programme followed the celebrations and sporting events as 6000 employees competed in the UK and Ireland Corporate Games. Game In TV Launched on Sky Digital in March 2004, Game In TV is dedicated to the world of gaming and gambling. AdVision TV provided facilities and co-produced their TFT Table Football Tournament programme which broadcasts on Sky Digital Channel 226. We supplied two Portable Production Units (PPU) and six cameras to record over 60 matches which took place over a weekend in November.
